I can’t tell you how many times I used to pour cloudy iced tea down the drain…until I read that acid is what causes the tea to turn cloudy so quickly. And what neutralizes acid? Why, BAKING SODA, of course! Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda the next time you make a gallon of iced tea, and you’ll actually be able to finish the whole pitcher.

Keep in mind that, if you like lemon with your iced tea, it’s probably best to reserve it for individual glasses as opposed to adding it to the whole pitcher; like tea, lemon is also acidic, so it will make your iced tea cloudy, too.
